Artist's Description

This cityscape of Toronto, Ontario (Canada) was taken from the CN Tower which was the world's tallest free-standing structure and had the world's highest public observatory until 2010 when Dubai's Burj Khalifa officially took on the title. Standing over half a kilometre high, it towers over the other skyscrapers so this photograph was quite literally "A View From Above".

The cityscape was then digitally enhanced to give it the vibrant colours as seen which makes it easier to appreciate the vastness of the city and better distinguishes the many buildings in the downtown core.

About Bianca Nadeau

Bianca Nadeau

I am constantly amazed and humbled by the incredible beauty that surrounds us. From the awe inspiring creations of Mother Nature, to the wonderful rustic charm of a historical building, to the spectacular geometrical design of modern day architecture, beauty can be found at each and every turn. My love of photography began at the age of nine when my parents gave me my very first camera. Little did I know that it would develop in to a life long passion. Although my true love is wildlife photography, I simply can't resist photographing anything of beauty. My hope is that in sharing my work I give others a new found appreciation of the beautiful gifts that we so often take for granted. Please note that watermark will not appear on...
