The Scarlet Ibis inhabits tropical South America and islands of the Caribbean. It resembles most of the other species of ibis but its remarkably brilliant scarlet coloration makes it unmistakable.

This medium-sized wader is a hardy and prolific bird and it has protected status around the world.

I am constantly amazed and humbled by the incredible beauty that surrounds us. From the awe inspiring creations of Mother Nature, to the wonderful rustic charm of a historical building, to the spectacular geometrical design of modern day architecture, beauty can be found at each and every turn. My love of photography began at the age of nine when my parents gave me my very first camera. Little did I know that it would develop in to a life long passion. Although my true love is wildlife photography, I simply can't resist photographing anything of beauty.
